Losing Their Virginity

The Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal is now known at the Singapore Cruise Center. It has spanking new facilities, marbled floors and a brand new cafeteria! All in all, a very professional looking place. Hey, look at their corporate values:

We believe in:
• Forging successful partnerships by being customer-focused, innovative and flexible

Customer focused, innovative and flexible my big fat pimply ass.

Well, on that very Saturday morning, due to unforeseen circumstances (it's OK Joe), we had to check in late. Then, we were told that the gate will be closing in a couple of minutes. The counter girl, adhering to her company values, rushed us there with the intention of getting us on the ferry by cutting the long queue. But enter Mr Big Fuck with that important looking walkie talkie, shouted with the authority of the most bad-ass RSM around, "Cannot!! Must queue up at the back!!!"

The girl LL, told us "I guarantee you that the gate to your ferry will close."

Now how's that for assurance?

We queued up nevertheless. Then enter Mr Smiley.

"Single line please."

Clustering together will definitely cause uncontrolled mayhem and chaos. The world will end if we don't stay in a freaking, single line. The first borns will all perish, floods will engulf Singapore, and all men will grow dicks on their noses. We wouldn't want all that to happen now, do we? So, we queued in a single line.

We believe in:
• Forging successful partnerships by being customer-focused, innovative and flexible

Thankfully, we all got onto the ferry. Felt kinda bad because it's Joe's and Alf's first trip to the golf course, and they had to endure such stress and pain. Hopefully, things will get erm...more lubricated next time.

On to the golf game. The morning was excruciatingly hot, especially at the back 9. Furthermore, it was rather crowded and we can't play the game at our own pace. Pretty difficult conditions I'd have to say. Definitely prefer weekday sessions.

Golf virgins played a decent game, much better than what SW and I had expected. Really hope u guys stay in the game, there's plenty of potential! SW himself played pretty well, driving in the correct directions. But he didn't record scores. As for me, I lost all my Phuket-bought Srixion balls to the rough and water hazards. No thanks to the crowd, we can't take mulligans.

Here are my scores (took penalty, but not distance for lost balls):
