Every moment wasted looking back keeps us from moving forward
Hillary Clinton
The previous month or so had been really shitty for me. Shitty at work, shitty at golf. Had a couple of terrible golf games, hence I didn't bother blogging about it.
If you really want to know, I lost 10 balls at Octville a couple of weeks ago, most of them Pro-V1s, and gave up at the 16th hole, went to my buggy, and sulked for the rest of the game.
More recently, I shot a 116 at Palm Springs in Batam. We were playing (and putting $10 on the line) some point-based system. When Seng Wee said, "hey Josh, you scored a 70! Ong has 62.". Josh had this smug look, thinking that he had 70 points, beating me by a full 8 points. But what happened was, he had 70 strokes for the first 9, and I had 62. Upon realization, expression on his face was priceless. But having those kind of scores for 9 holes is simply embarrassing for golfers who have played for 3 years.
Anyway, let's hope for more blue skies ahead.
